We have recently completed work on this stunning T6.1 150ps DSG finished in Fortana Red.
Converted from factory by us at QT VanWerks into a stylish Kombi Dayvan that is now for sale with QT CARS.

From factory this Transporter has the following options fitted – LED lights, heated front seats, single passenger seat, rear view camera, tailgate and arm rest for the front seats.

We started the conversion process by stripping the van back to its bare chassis, we then sound deadened all panels (including the front foot wells and wheel arches), fully insulate using 100% recyclable material, ply line and then carpet all areas required. This gives a great base for the van and really reduces road noise and improves general insulation.

With this particular build we have created a very versatile ‘Dayvan’ which has a very detailed and thought-out out electrical set up which can cater for both on and off grid use. The Fabworx sliding rock and roll bed is a huge feature of this van which enables you to slide the seat along the inside of the van creating space at the front or back. This also means this van can sleep 4 people and with the Fabworx bed being a full width bed it is very comfortable as well!

We feel we have created the ultimate dayvan which is very useable for all occasions and also has a presence on the road when travelling to your destination. We do hope you like what we have created! Please do get in touch for more information on any of our builds.

We haven’t included kitchen facilities in this van build as we are finding people don’t regularly use the cooker particularly during the warmer months as you are often outside having a BBQ or fish and chips on the beach!

You do however have a very capable electrical set up so you can use appliances when on grid with the 3 pin plug that is fitted. The Skyline roof has the optional scenic canvas so it can be opened up when the pop-top is up for an amazing view whilst on your adventure and this is colour-coded to give it a very sleek look. The bed in the roof is a bi-fold bed which provides extra head room in the rear of the van when the roof is elevated. The bed comes with a memory foam mattress as well as a reading light and USB for phone charging during the darker hours.
